Yavanika 2026 will present three distinct plays, each with a unique purpose:
Classical Malayalam Theatre Drama
🎭A tribute to the golden era of Malayalam theatre — rich characters, emotional depth, and the timeless storytelling many of us grew up with.
Contemporary Malayalam Drama
🌟Reflecting today's realities — modern conflicts, evolving identities, and stories shaped by life between cultures and changing worlds.
English Play
🎬A special initiative for the youth in our community. This production focuses not only on acting, but also on Script, Direction, Stage Management, Lights, Sound etc.

Eligibility & Commitment
✨ Who Can Apply?
- Anyone passionate about theatre
- Prior stage experience is welcome but not mandatory
- Teens are encouraged to apply for the English production
📅 Practice Timeline & Commitment
- Rehearsals begin: March 1
- Duration: March through October
- Regular practice sessions (schedule shared per production)
- Commitment is essential — consistency matters more than perfection
